Seahawks vs. Redskins Game Recap E-mail
Written by Kyle Payne

The first three quarters felt about the same. After leading 10-0 at halftime, the Seahawks tacked on a field goal in the third quarter for a 13-0 lead. But, then came the fourth quarter. Washington scored an early touchdown, then turned a LaRon Landry interception into another score to take a 14-13 lead out of nowhere. After that the 'skins missed a couple of golden opportunities to turn some Seattle mistakes into points. The Seahawks regained the lead with about 6 minutes to go on a D.J. Hackett touchdown catch. Then, Marcus Trufant inercepted a Todd Collins pass and returned it for a touchdown to put the game away. In the short time it took for the Redskins to turn the game their way, they gave it back even faster. Another Collins pick was returned for a score by Jordan Babineaux to get to the final score of 35-14. For most of the game Washington was out of sync and Seattle finally took advantage toward the end. But, the Seahawks will have to play much better than they did today if they want to have any chance to win at Green Bay next week. Well, now its on to the nightcap, Jaguars at Steelers. This should really be a good one, check back at halftime for our thoughts!!
